Coughlans’ win IMRO award

Congratulations to Coughlan’s of Douglas Street who won the public vote and was named National Live Music Venue of the Year at last night’s IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year Awards in Dublin.

000876c8-630The awards, which took place at the Irish Music Rights Organisation HQ, are now in their sixth year and are voted by over 8,500 IMRO members. Other winners in the regional categories last night included:

Dublin – Whelan’s
Rest of Leinster – Mermaid Arts Centre, Wicklow
Munster – Crane Lane Theatre, Cork
Ulster – An Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny
Connacht – Matt Molloy’s, Westport, Co. Mayo
