Dead School set their stall out in 2011 with an opening salvo of singles, ‘Frailties’ and ’3:17′ that caught the ear of Irish
alternative radio. They made their first festival appearance at the Indiependence Music and Arts Festival, playing on a bill that included
The Editors, Ash and Therapy?
The band were quickly signed to FIFA Records and have just returned from an 11-date tour of the UK where they played with fellow Irish
rising stars, Tieranniesaur, and Irish legends, The Frank & Walters and Whipping Boy.
‘Incisions’ completes a hat trick of fine singles from Dead School to date, displaying the band’s trademark strengths of powerful post-punk riffs, dark and broody vocals that combine to elevate the song to a crescendo of feedback squall.
Dead School are set to record their debut album later in 2012
