In case you needed any further incentive to attend the screening of Carl Dreyer’s classic silent film The Passion of Joan of Arc at Triskel Christchurch tonight, with specially commissioned score performed live by local Cork composer Irene Buckley, here’s a short clip of the rehearsal, kindly supplied by the Cork French Film Festival.
A little birdie told me that they’re also using the original organ in Triskel Christchurch as part of the performance. It just gets better and better…
