A short piece of notable ticket information for you, which Triskel Arts Centre have asked us to pass on, and we’re happy to oblige.
You’ll be aware that New York No Wave legend Lydia Lunch is in town for a solo, multi-media word performance at The Black Mariah (that’s the upstairs visual art space) in Triskel late on Thursday night. While earlier that evening, in a festival-style piece of scheduling, The Spook of the Thirteenth Lock, with Barry McCormack supporting, play Triskel Christchurch.
Normal priced tickets for Lydia Lunch are €10 and €12/€10 for The Spooks. But anyone in possession of, or buying a ticket for, the Lydia Lunch performance can avail of a ticket for the earlier gig at a special price of €5.
Not too shabby, eh? Get cracking at www.triskelartscentre.ie, or in person at Tobin St.
(By the way, that Lydia Lunch image is really something else, non?)
