May we direct your attention to a band playing in Dublin tomorrow night – that’s May 2nd to you – at Academy 2.
They are Hooded Fang, they’re from Toronto and we like them a lot around here.
Their second album, Tosta Mista (it’s the name of a sandwich, apparently), came out in Canada last year but got its European release through Full Time Hobby just a couple of months ago.
It’s a vibrant collection of garage pop nuggets (Mmm, say that word again – Ed.) that will have you up out of your seat, bypassing your brain and going straight to your legs.
Sample this jerky, twisting beaut, liable to have you dancing the jive, or some such pre-modern dance move.
