This is something very nice we spotted in Thumped. The new single from Cat Dowling, ‘The well runs dry’, comes out today.

Cat is the singer with Alphastates and the song is taken from her upcoming debut album The Believer.

There’s a hint of a torch song about the tune but with a restrained quality that we like.

Cat plays the Knockanstockan and Castlepalooza festivals over the “summer”.
