Indiependence 2012 have been on the blower again with some more news.
They’ve announced some more young talent for this year’s blow-out in Mitchelstown on August Bank Holiday Weekend, to add to headliners 2dmanydjs, Feeder, Maverick Sabre, British Sea Power and more . . . More here.
It was a very exciting finish to the Red Bull Bedroom Jam Festival Chart with a huge number of tweets for Icon on Fire pushing them to the top. They clearly put together some strong support as their scoring in the last hour of the competition more than doubled that of their closest competitors, In the Willows and Walking on Cars, who also join them at this year’s INDIEPENDENCE 2012.
It’s also nice to see that some artists known to these pages will be making an papearance in Cheesetown (can we still call it that? – Ed.), in association with Breaking Tunes. Here’s the list, and some tunes below to take the edge off the weather.
