1. I’ll Eat Your Face

No matter where these gents have a show, you will always come out of it saying “that was a fucking great laugh”. One of my favourite bands in the country. For two guys to create such an intense sound and play so tight and fast, it just blows your mind. It’s also great to see a band write songs about serious issues that go on in the world today such as wolves and pancakes. Everyone needs to see these guys live.

2. A Plastic Rose

These guys have been having an amazing year and they deserve every second of it. We had the opportunity to play a show with them a few months back so it was great to see them again. Lovely guys, very hard working and live they have such great energy. Their album is due out this year, so keep an eye out for that.

3. Terror Pop

Every time I see these folks live, they just keep getting better and better. They have such a unique sound and are incredibly nice people. Time Is A Thief and Terror Pop are very good mates so we regularly meet up for a glass of orange juice and feed each other with compliments about how much we love each others band. Little fact for you readers, frontman Chris does not like The Cure, so whoever wants to join me on going to his house and setting up a full band outside playing all Cure songs, gimme a shout.

4. Toy Solider

Toy Soldier are neighbours of ours, so it was great to see them on the bill. Their album is out in September and we are very excited to hear it. They are always a great feel good band. Even though the weather was rough at the weekend, it didn’t stop the crowd from dancing during their show.

5. The Frank and Walters

This was the very first time that I have got to see The Franks in a full band and it won’t be the last. Paul has such an amazing voice and I am a massive fan of their latest album. They have had such a huge following since the start and it is fantastic the see them still going and releasing great music. Guitarist Rory is a very good friend of mine and it was brilliant to see him on such a big stage and Ashley has given Time Is A Thief a good few spins on his radio show Green on Red. They are all off to Japan soon for a few shows and I wish them all the best over there.
