News just in, music fans.
Si Schroeder plays The Bowery in Cork on Sunday night, Aug 26th, 11pm.
Which means you’ll be able to avoid the boozy GAA/Leaving Cert/Insert as applicable crowd in comfort.
Expect a preview of new songs from his upcoming second album, Holding patterns , which is due out in the autumn (isn’t that now? – Ed.), the follow-up to his impressive Choice nominated debut Coping mechanisms in 2006.
The first single from the new album, ‘Clocked’, is a teasing, beautifully building wall of sound. We suggest you stop what you’re doing and listen to it right now.
Si will be joined by a drummer for the gig, which should make for something special to cap off your week.
