Triskel Arts Centre – TDC, Plugd Records, Gulpd Cafe
September 28, 29, 30

Cork online music zine Noise and Plugd Records have teamed up to host the first Noise Weekender, taking place at Triskel Arts Centre, Plugd and Gulpd Cafe from September 28-30.

In keeping with both Noise’s and Plugd’s policy of finding and sharing some of the best new Irish music, they have put together a diverse programme from the hottest new electronica, to experimental and psych-rock, through to acoustic folk-blues and pure indie.

Headliners over the weekend will be No Spill Blood (Sargent House), Windings (Out on a Limb Records) and special guests Dead Skeletons (Iceland).

The three venues will also host Laura Sheeran’s Nanu Nanu, rising Cork electronic artist REID, Marc O’Reilly, The Altered Hours, Trumpets of Jericho, Magic Pockets, Für Immer, Lamp, Cormac O’Caoimh, Wasps vs Humans and a special album launch from Mumblin’ Deaf Ro.

Weekend tickets are €24 and include all shows*, with two free pints of Murphy’s. Available from Plugd Records on Friday, September 14.

*Note: Because of strictly limited space, Weekender ticket holders must present themselves at least 20 minutes before showtime for Plugd gigs. Admission will be on a first come first seved basis. Individual tickets will be sold for all gigs on the night, subject to space available.

Information on individual shows, updates and programme can be found on www.wearenoise.com and www.facebook.com/pages/plugd
