1. The Clash – Rudie Can’t Fail
One of our favorite bands. A band that infused punk rock with reggae like it had never been done before.
2. Father John Misty – Only Son of the Ladiesman
This is such good shit, but none of us can figure out if he’s pulling a big joke on everyone or if he’s actually just completely insane.
3. Lower Dens – I Get Nervous
This whole album is killer, it kind of puts you in a different world with its atmospheric guitar work and relentless driving midtempo. This is the shining star of the album.
4. Goldenboy – Kittens of Lust
A band based out of LA that we are obsessed with, the lead singer Shon used to play keys for Elliot Smith. The album that this song is on is being re-released on vinyl this year.
5. Blink 182 – Online Songs
Kenny loves the way it starts with just bass and vocals, then the drums creep in and then it hits really hard. And it’s just a cool name.
