The Shaker Hymn, The Runaway Video

Shaker Hymn Runaway

The Shaker Hymn are back with the video to second single ‘The Runaway’, the audio of which we brought you a few weeks ago.

It’s a luminous black and white affair of the band playing to start, with colours bleeding through later, in a kind of volcanic lava or liquid mercury effect.

Brendan Canty of Feel Good Lost was on hand to direct these visual effects, once again doing a characteristically superior job.

The band’s debut album, Rascal’s Antique , is due out in May by the way, Record Collector Magazine said this about it recently –

The kind of proud, unashamedly guitar-driven record debut that would once
have been pounced on by an enlightened imprint such as Creation or Go! Discs

So somewhere between The House of Love and The La’s, eh?
